Simply.Event-Catering

From the very beginning, Simply.Event-Catering has been very conscious to minimise the environmental impact our business has on the environment.

We regularly review our operations and look at ways in which we can reduce our carbon footprint and, as far as possible, use biodegradable products. Here is a summary of some of the things that we do;
Goodlife

All our disposable products are biodegradable  Our tray containers, cups, cutlery, napkins, coffee clutches and coffee stirrers are all biodegradable. Manufactured either from reed pulp or wood, these natural products which degrade much quicker.

Liquid Petroleum Gas is greener fuel     Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) is recognised as a greener fuel than diesel and so our generator has been converted to use LPG. In addition all our cooking appliances use LPG.

Used cooking oil is converted to Bio-diesel  We ensure that all our used cooking oil is safely stored and then collected by a reputable collection company who then concert this oil to bio-diesel
